Truth Will Prevail: Robert Vadra Backs Rahul, Sonia Gandhi With FB Post Before Court Hearing

Despite the fact that he’s been a lightning rod for much of the criticism levelled against the first family of the Congress, Robert Vadra cannot be faulted for his support of his mother-in-law and brother-in-law.

As Sonia and Rahul Gandhi prepared to appear in a Delhi court in connection with the National Herald case, Vadra posted this on Facebook:

My full support to my mother in law and brother in law. Politics of vendetta and desperate malicious attempts of defamation, will not be believed …Truth shall prevail.

Incidentally, Vadra and wife Priyanka are expected to accompany Rahul and Sonia Gandhi to the Patiala House court complex. But evidently Vadra decided to wear his support on his Facebook wall before setting out.

The two Congress leaders are expected to seek bail in the National Herald case. The Congress President and Vice President have been summoned by the trial court thanks to a private criminal complaint of BJP leader Subramanian Swamy.
